A contest! Create a card game in Liberty BASIC!
- The contest starts July 11, 2011.
- The contest ends September 1, 2011.
- A community poll will be open for a week to select the winner.
- The winner will be listed in the Contest Hall of Fame at the Community Wiki. http://basic.wikispaces.com/Contests
- All entries must use a card image DLL. There are at least two such DLLs available. You can find the DLLS, tutorials, and demos for the QCard.dll and the windows Cards.dll here:

- Entries must be rated for family viewing. Gambling games are fine, as long as they are in good taste.
- Entries will be accepted at the bottom of this page. http://basic.wikispaces.com/CardGameContest
- Both DLLs are available on LBPE.
- CODE MUST BE WRITTEN IN LIBERTY BASIC AND MUST BE SHARED/INCLUDED.
- Games can be simple or complicated.
- The DLLs contain card front and back images. The game logic and programming must be done by the programmer.
- Please try to limit extra files and keep the sizes small so that they can be downloaded quickly. Place all files into a zipped archive and upload them to the wiki.
- The qcard.dll and cards.dll will be available on the contest page. The wavs for shuffle and deal will also be available for download on the contest page. Do not include any of these files in your uploaded entry.
- You must be a member of the wiki to add content. Membership is free and easy. Click the link to join the wiki and an organizer will approve you quickly. If you have any questions or problems please post them here and we'll help you.
